چکیده

We study effects of nonlocality in the nuclear force on the G-matrix elements for finite nuclei. Nuclear G-matrix elements for 16O are calculated in the harmonic oscillator basis from a nonlocal potential which models quark exchange effects between two nucleons. We employ a simple form of potential that gives the same phase shifts as a realistic local nucleon potential. The G-matrix elements calculated from the nonlocal potential show moderate increase in repulsion from those derived from the local potential.

M ay 1 99 8 Microscopic model analyses of the elastic scattering of 65 MeV protons from targets of diverse mass

Nonlocal coordinate space optical potentials for the scattering of 65 MeV protons from nuclei ranging in mass from 6 Li to 238 U have been defined by folding a complex, medium dependent effective interaction with the density matrix elements of each target. The effective interaction is based upon solutions of the Lippmann–Schwinger and Brueckner–Bethe–Goldstone equations having the Paris potenti...

A ug 1 99 9 Relativistic photoemission theory for general nonlocal potentials

An improved formulation of the one-step model of photoemission from crystal surfaces is proposed which overcomes different limitations of the original theory. Considering the results of an electronic-structure calculation, the electronic (one-particle) potential and the (many-body) self-energy, as given quantities, we derive explicit expressions for the dipole transition-matrix elements. The th...

Vibration Analysis of Circular Magneto-Electro-Elastic Nano-plates Based on Eringen s Nonlocal Theory

The present work mainly studies the free vibration of circular magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) nano-plates based on the Kirchhoff’s plate theory within the framework of nonlocal elasticity theory to account for the small scale effect. The MEE nano-plate studied here is considered to be fully clamped and subjected to the external magnetic and electric potentials. Using nonlocal constitutive relati...

Green ’ s Function for Nonlocal Potentials

The single-particle nuclear potential is intrinsically nonlocal. In this paper, we consider nonlocalities which arise from the many-body and fermionic nature of the nucleus. We investigate the effects of nonlocality in the nuclear potential by developing the Green’s function for nonlocal potentials. The formal Green’s function integral is solved analytically in two different limits of the wavel...
